How I work
- Style & IdentityI work exclusively with black ink and negative space. This approach creates the distinctive textures and contrasts that define my work. Rather than pursuing photographic realism or highly descriptive imagery, I focus on organic textures, primitive forms, dynamic line work, and the relationship between black ink and skin.My goal is not simply to create an image that explains something, but to create a design that can be felt.- Design ApproachYou may choose from my original designs, available concept sketches, or commission a new original design based on your idea. For original projects, you are welcome to choose the subject, placement, approximate size, and overall mood. The final composition, layout, and visual direction are left entirely to me, allowing me to create work that genuinely reflects my artistic style.I aim to create a new design for every project. However, if you are particularly drawn to one of my previous works, I am happy to revisit certain ideas. In those cases, I will reinterpret the textures, details, and composition so that each piece maintains its own unique identity.- Custom ProjectsFor clients who would like greater involvement in the design process, I offer a limited number of Custom Projects.Custom Projects are priced 20% higher than my standard rate and allow clients to provide more specific design direction and feedback during the design process. To ensure the design process remains efficient and focused, I ask clients to provide as much information as possible before the design process begins. Please focus primarily on visual information such as subject matter, placement, size, composition, shapes, textures, and visual references.Personal meanings, symbolic interpretations, background stories, and fictional lore can provide context, but visual information is generally far more useful when creating a tattoo design. The more clearly you can describe what you would like to see visually from the beginning, the better I can understand the direction you are looking for. Please note that additional sketch requests are not included. If a new sketch is required due to additional design requests, changes in direction, newly introduced elements, or revisions after the design process has begun, each new sketch will be charged at £150 per sketch.- Pricing & BookingsMost one-hand sized projects are typically between £800 and £1,500.Pricing varies depending on the overall density and complexity of the design:• Light & Simple
